St. Hilda's College, not only cosidered as home away from home for many Oxford students dating back since 1893, but has also been the dormitory site for the SJC students. Located at Cowley Place, St. Hilda's College was named after St. Hilda of Whitby who, still today, is known as "England's first great educator of women". In fact, the college only admitted women prior to 2008. Today, the students whho attend St. Hilda's College are known as "Hildabeasts"!
